Privacy at the Talent Hub

Last updated 2026-05-01

What we store

We store the data you provide to operate the platform: account credentials (handled by AWS Cognito), profile fields, resume files (in private S3 storage), forum posts and comments, RSVPs, and notifications.

Anonymization

Candidate identities are not visible in the talent directory. Employers see clearance, skills, location, work style, and a headline — never names, emails, phones, or LinkedIn URLs. PII is released only after a candidate approves a specific employer's connection request.

Resumes

Resumes are stored privately. Access is via short-lived signed URLs (15 minutes) issued only to the resume owner or to an employer with an approved connection.

Resume parsing

We use Anthropic's API to extract structured data from your uploaded resume. Per Anthropic's policy, content sent through the API is not used for training.

Email

Transactional email (verification, password reset, notifications) is sent through Resend. We do not send marketing email without explicit opt-in.

Your data, your control

You can update, hide, or delete your profile at any time. Chapter staff can export full member data on request — no vendor lock-in.
